Life is like an hour glass, glued to the table

As this school year starts, my friends and I are accepting great changes. We are all getting ready to go our separate ways, to diffrent schools. My friend Jen was so kind to take pictures of us, to remember this time in our lives when we were all together. Now, we may always be friends and share many more memories together, but we will also make new friends and have new adventures in our lives that will be shared with new people as well. We'll also have this day to remember the last couple of years we all spent at school together.

Thank you for your friendship.

Happy Friday!!

Interview with Rue!

Q: What is your best quality?

A: I am a total snuggle bug, I just love to cuddle.

Q: What do you do in your free time?

A: Sleep in this corner, yup that about covers it.

Q: How did you get your name?

A: Well it started off Benny the Jet from the movie the Sand Lot, then it changed to Benjamin Franklin as i got older and more manly. Now I go by Rue and I have no idea where that came from, she just brought that out from left field and it stuck.

Q: Who's in Charge?

A: She thinks she is, but who feeds who here?

Happy Tuesday!!!

Things that make me, ME

when I'm sad, the way i cheer up is to drown my sorrows in a can of frosting and blare Cher from my stereo. normally by the second spoonful I'm singing along in a strained sobbing hiccupy voice, but by scoop three the frosting is all but forgotten and I belt "i don't need no sympathy" (words to the song by Cher) and begin to feel empowered and out of my sad funk.

When i am happy, just living on life, you will catch me singing and dancing. This will happen anywhere, but if I'm at home it is 3 times worse because normally i have no pants on and my dance moves become more ridiculous.

When I am deep in thought or stressed or anxious about something I take the end of my hair and twirl it around the outer side of my mouth. I normally don't realize I'm doing it until its pointed out to me.

Pita Jungle

Mom and I went to Pita jungle this evening for dinner.

The humus is to die for and the atmosphere is splendid. It is definitely a restaurant everyone needs to try. So put it on your list of places to try. It was a great way to wrap up the weekend.

Central threw an appreciation dinner for all the volunteers. It was at a beautiful house on a farm. We ate great food and had a good time fellowshipping together. A special thanks to all that put on the evening for us, it was greatly appreciated.

Cami and I having a laughing fit.

All pictures were taken by my wonderful friend Mike Porter. Check out his photography business
