Like scraping bubble gum off your shoe...

Had a day like that this week, but you know what makes them better?  Taking goofie fun pictures with your friend while she is making you dinner. After work I headed over to JWs house for dinner.  His lovely girlfriend Cassy made dinner for Jw, Colby and me. After dinner Colby made Mac and cheese for dessert. It brings me great joy to have all these loving wonderful people in my life.

This weekend had no planning involved... I woke up late Saturday. first time I have slept-in, in over a year excluding sick days. After class my lovely friend Cami called to see if I wanted to go to Captain America with another great friend Mike. Well of course I was in, they picked me up and we headed for a quick dinner before our movie. We went to Paradise Bakery and got to talking, and you know what, we missed our movie. Well that did not ruin our evening, we went shopping instead.  Well actually, we goofed around instead.

In dillards we played marco polo and took pictures next to random things. While roaming through the isles, we found a lovely  cardboard cut out of Justine Beaber.  With self restraint we did not borrow him without permision from dillards.  He was left in his place next to the perfume.

While roaming the mall we pased a nail salon.  Mike stopped and started staring at a women getting her nails done. She soon realized and the look of horror on her face was priceless.

To wrap up our evening we tried on hats at the old navy.

Sunday was miss Ambers birthday she turned the big 7.

She received wonderful gifts from all the people that love her.

Mod Podge

With it being summer and having no classes I have been able to get done all the projects I had been wanting to do all semester. This week I did mod podge frames.

Here is what you will need. A wooden frame from your local craft store, old magazines, mod podge once again craft store, and a paint brush. Then get started by cutting out pictures you want on your frame. When finished spread a thin layer on your clippings and apply one by one until your frame is complete. easy huh?!

Walla! a new way to display your pictures that is uniquely you.

LIFE!!!!!!!!

Lately, life has been hectic and crazy, and to be honest i have bitten off more than I can chew. I have missed sitting down at least a few mornings a week to blog. It brings me joy and I've missed that, so to catch you all up on this crazy life of mine sit tight. Monday was the start of the madness. I teach Sunday school, so naturally when the summer VBS (vacation bible school) program came up I volunteered not realizing how many other commitments I already agreed to. Along with VBS this week two coworkers have gone out of town and I have had to pick up extra shifts at work. Not that Im complaining, my paycheck will be SWEET but it would have worked out better at another time. But there is no use crying over spilt milk. Along with VBS i signed up for a vocational bible study class which meets Friday Saturday and sunday for three hours. Needless to say i am a busy bee! I am so looking forward to the end of the week to get some rest. But in contradicting myself, I will also be so sad when it is over because I will so miss my VBS kids.

Stormes

Summer is when all the wild weather happens in AZ. We get wildfires, thunder storms and dust storms so thick that you can't see two feet in front of you. Tonight as I was coming home, I caught my favorite of all, a marvlous thunder storm. As soon as i pulled in the drive way i hopped out of the car and ran into the house to grab my camera. As I waited in the storm getting soaked to the bone, I was able to catch some wonderful storm in pictures. Enjoy a little storm madness with me.

What the 4th of July means to us!

Fist off it is my moms birthday so we celebrate big. To keep it short and to the point it goes a little like this, BBQ with great friends, play games, have a water balloon fight, sing happy birthday, eat cake, open presents, light sparklers, and top it off with watching fire works.  I so much enjoy spending time with the people I love especially when there is time off work to celebrate. Happy independence day to all. Hope yours was just as wonderful as mine.

Twistie, messy, fablous hair...

1. Divide hair in two sections down part line.

2. Twist one side of hair into a loose messy bun, letting some hair stick out.

3. Pin in place with bobbypins until securely fasioned.

4. Repeat on the second side.

5. Wala! show off your care free messy look.
